With parallel Linux version, only one node is used as client ...
« on: December 17, 2006, 12:36:20 pm »
Q: When I run the parallel Linux version, only one node is used as client for the calculations.

A:
If you do not run the calculations from a queuing system like PBS or DQS, the Turbomole scripts do not read in the MPICH hostname file machines.LINUX - an own file containing the hostname of the machine you have started the calculation from is generated.

You can set the environment variable HOSTS_FILE to a file that contains a list of nodes.
